The club is delighted to announce Neil Macdonald will join Iain MacCormick in coaching the 2nd team.
Neil was previously a player and more recently a referee and it’s great to have his knowledge and passion for shinty involved with the club. With nine U17s now part of the squad, together the senior coaches have a great opportunity to develop the next group of youngsters and integrate them with a great bunch of committed and determined players.
Its been great to have 34 players training regularly and it’s encouraging to see the enthusiasm for the start of the new season after the Covid enforced break. Both men’s teams have home fixtures arranged over February. The 1st team play Bute and Glengarry ahead of their debut season in National Division while the the second team host Tayforth and Bute 2nds.
